Residential Drainage

Hindmarsh Drainage have extensive experience in residential drainage projects, be it for a new build or renovation or repairs or an upgrade. We provide the following services:

  • Access Chambers: These are dry inspection or deep access chambers/ manholes through which drain pipes run and provide access for drain inspection and cleaning.
  • Channel Drains: These are installed for rapid collection and to disperse water from areas that tend to pool water. We install these in driveways, gardens, pool decks and in front of garage doors.
  • Sanitary/Sewer Drainage: The sanitary/ sewer drainage system consists of all the pipes from the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry. The effluent that flows through the sewer drain pipes are filtered and treated in in waste facilities before they are released into local water catchments. For new builds, we can support you from the concept stage of the sewage drainage system. For existing homes, we can check and repair drainage pipes.
  • Stormwater Drainage: These drainpipes are in place to drain water off from rain that falls on driveways, roofs, footpaths etc as also soil and fertilisers from gardens. These consist of gutters, downpipes, pits and drains. Unlike sewage drainage, water through the stormwater pipes are not treated before being discharged.
  • Soak holes: Soak pit is a porous walled chamber built at a low-lying area of the property to collect stormwater and temporarily store it. These are cost-effective alternative to installing a retention or detention tank. The stored water thereafter percolate slowly into the surrounding soil through infiltration.
  • Drain Inspection, Diagnostics, Drain Repairs and Ongoing Maintenance
